I know a Pakistani Christian whose church was bombed, with him in it, he survived(mostly) intact, and fled here. His wife and two daughters had to stay in Pakistan for over 10 years before he could finally bring them over.

The system is broken.

People from 3rd world countries literally cannot become citizens of countries outside of the US that are considered Good economy countries.

They can here, yes it takes long, and it should.
