Everything I’ve seen and read regarding Monahan is that he’s nothing more than a passenger (when ideally you want your Center to be able to drive a line). The second teams shut down Gaudreau, Monahan is nowhere to be found and his defensive metrics aren’t good at all.

So yes, if we are moving Cozens or the 8th overall pick in a deal for any one of those players, even if both came in a package deal, I’d throw up in my mouth.

Gaudreau is also most likely looking for his last good payday with term at the ripe age of 29.

I made a similar assessment on monahan but apparently he had 8pts in 10gp. I wasnt impressed visually from what i watched. If it takes 8OA or cozens forget about it. Im probably not moving cozens for anything

But we must ask how much of his success is because of gaudreau, and would playing behind eichel make that a wash? He has essentially been a 30/30 guy his entire career
