Exactly. I think Lundell is an excellent fit.
My offseason requirements for the Sabres is two options
Add a top 6 winger and top 9 center or add top 9 winger and top 6 center.
Get three pairs of positive impact players
Eichel/top 6 acquisition/ Olofsson
Skinner/3C/Reinhart
Kahun/Cozens/Johansson
Lundell/4C/Okposo
Or.....
Eichel/Olo/Reinhart
Skinner/legit 2c/ top 9 winger add
Kahun/Cozens/Johansson
Line 4 - sbroads24
Couldn’t say it any better myself 🤝 |

Be interesting to see what Adams, Crowe and Nightingale come up with about numbers and what player's match up better together. |

You really think they're going to impose an internal cap? |

I'm sure Jack will be thrilled with that.
And to think, I was originally working with a $75 M cap |

We might as well trade him now for picks. This is going to get real ugly. |

Which defenseman will the Sabres trade this offseason?
Lysowski: Brandon Montour. Yes, I know a large segment of the fan base will let out a collective groan because my answer isn’t Rasmus Ristolainen. The reality is Ralph Krueger, who is among Ristolainen’s greatest supporters, will likely have a say in how this roster is built. It’s difficult to envision Adams parting ways with a player that Krueger legitimately admires and values................

He also answers a question about Cozens and it is not as cut and dry that he will be ready this year as many seem to believe but starting on right-wing is mentioned because scouts think he might not be physically ready to play center. |

Cozens should start on the wing. Hayton and Dach both did.
If he proves he can play the middle then he can move into the middle |

I found the second last paragraph when Adams was asked about contract talks with Dahlin and Reinhart. Dahlin will be resigned but he didn't comment on either and said "how each individual fits into the bigger piece of all this." |

He might not be ready at all, we will have to see.

just tried a quick capfriendly armchair gm using $70m...if they want to keep skunk, whom i signed at a $6.685M cap-hit and re-sign kahun and olofsson for about $6m among other moves with conservative cap-hits, it may not be possible...and if ka and rk do get it down to $70m, it'll be a train wreck |

8 yrs. at a $7m cap-hit would be great |

That article that you posted the other day where he thinks he is going to be the best in the league or world? I don't think he signs long term for 7 mil if he thinks so high of himself. Maybe 7 mil for 3 or 4 years and then he'll want 10 million or so.

I'd rather lock him up on a 3 year bridge first
3 year 21 mil, then an 8 year deal |

We've heard it from multiple reporters at TBN for about a year, what is your point?
