just tried a quick capfriendly armchair gm using $70m...if they want to keep skunk, whom i signed at a $6.685M cap-hit and re-sign kahun and olofsson for about $6m among other moves with conservative cap-hits, it may not be possible...and if ka and rk do get it down to $70m, it'll be a train wreck - Michael Pachla
What is the cap floor? And without moving Okposo, Monte and probably mojo out and have an all kid, elc Larry line. Plus tage, mitts and cozens. And Borgen. I’m not sure you get to $70 and you certainly don’t make Jack happy... |

He might not be ready at all, we will have to see. - GilPerreault11
He is already the 2nd fastest skater before stepping on the ice for training camp
He’s had the last few months and the next few to add weight to his 6’3 frame.
He also has nothing left to prove at the WHL level as he’s dominated it the past two years.
Worst case scenario he plays the wing on the third line. |

Could go to Europe, but I agree 97% chance he's in the show

i'd rather not fool around...get 'er done - Michael Pachla
11 years of dahlin is better then 8
pay a little more on the next deal |
|
|

We've heard it from multiple reporters at TBN for about a year, what is your point? - GilPerreault11
My point is Hommie and 89 have stated this repeatedly, well before TBN... sorry I had to spell it out for you... I thought you were so much smarter and wealthier than everyone... please, carry on oh enlightened one... |
|

|
I'd rather lock him up on a 3 year bridge first
3 year 21 mil, then an 8 year deal - homiedclown
He hasn't earned that on a bridge deal....yet.
I'd try to lock him up long term this summer. League-wide trend is away from 8 year deals, so it might be tough.

shipping out montour, replace with borgen
trade johansson to a contender and put tage as that third line RW |

I've heard this before about past prospects in the offseason and who besides Jack has lived up to the expectation? I'll remain skeptical until I see it on the NHL ice.

Oh wow, Hommies b*tch nerve got touched. I think we can see why someone lost their writing job on HB among other reasons.
Here is a hint, post's like this and also saying "I might be a racist" won't look good on your resume when trying to get your next job. |

Curious how this is all the cards. It's basically 1 card: file for arb. It's really a bluff to try to put pressure on the team, since he doesn't actually want a 1 year deal. I guess he could request a trade or not file for arb and holdout. Absent a shocking offer sheet, the team is holding most of the cards here. - Lunaion
Why not?
Do a 1 yr Arb, then another 1 year Arb.
He gets to UFA status 1 year early, will be 26 in his prime, the Cap will likely begin to ease for successive years, puts pressure on the team rather than his Agent. Hire L of L for insurance on his future earnings for 2 years.
I just dont see Reinhart being a team friendly guy in this negotiation since he was foced to bet on himself...he did...he won...he was screwed out of say $1.5 x 2 ... I would assume he wants his $3m back...I would.
Oh and "..." fvck you kraut |

I didn't bring you up, your b*tch did and I don't bring you up, pay attention. I may reply to one of your ignorant posts and you reply to one of my enlightened posts that are not racist as yours are but I don't bring you up, pay attention. |

I've already laid out the reasons it's extremely unlikely to happen. Can you name anyone who has done this?
I don't see this being a friendly negotiation either. I don't think he was cheated out of anything, but he very well may.

I have a question. Why do you always tell me to stop replying to you and you'll stop replying to me and you'll go to your quiet space and I have no problem with you and your attacks on me? I don't take my ball and go home but you just have to keep coming back to me. You can't stay away. I guess I just have that charisma.

give it a shot...i had an extremely difficult time getting a reasonable lineup at $75M |
