I'm still holding out hope for a Tampa/Colorado final - jcragcrumple
That’s my ideal matchup. Boston and Vegas are my two most hated teams and having them in the final would be the most 2020 thing possible. |

He's a year removed from 34 goals and over a PPG. He's 25 years old.
I'd be shocked if 8th overall cut it - sbroads24

idk, didnt look like the Mavs weren't into it or missing their families when Doncic drained the 3 from LONNNNNG RANGE to win the game in OT. I feel lucky to have seen that live.
Sports are proving it's time to move on. False positives are the latest gimmick. Get fans in the stands like KC. It won't matter though. Too many lazy ass Cancel Culturers in society are content with getting paid to sit around on their unmotivated asses and drag this out as long as they can. Meanwhile i get to do double time as my kids teacher while I work to 11 at night. Lazy spineless (frank)s. |

Craig Rivet made a cogent argument:
"We're bringing in C and D level players and hoping they play like A and B level players. It hasn't happened"
Git gud - jcragcrumple
We were bringing in those C and D level players, but who exactly thought they were going to play like A and B level players?
Colin Miller was a B/C level acquisition and he was sat half the time
Brandon Montour was a C level acquisition and he played wing and LD
Vesey was started on line 3. Not really an expectation of great results
Skinner was an A level acquisition and scored 40 goals
Jokiharju was an A level acquisition and he looks excellent
The only guy who fits this mold is Johansson

The problem is that during Botterill's time, he lost 3 A/B players and only brought in 2 to replace them - Skinner and Dahlin. We hope Joker will be one as well but he isn't there yet.
So high-end talent wise, there's really been no progress since 2015. Buncha C players playing way too much time who were acquired for a 3rd.
Hopefully this regime commits to actually bringing in talent |

There's one example of this. One.
Lehner was replaced with someone who had better career numbers, and Lehner was a disaster here
Kane was replaced by Skinner, who's better
ROR was never replaced. Which was awful.
It's a nonsense take |

8th pick + prospect
Similar to Staal to CAR IMO - sbroads24
I wouldn't give them the 8th overall for Monahan.
I would make other offers, and keep the 8th overall. |
