i am curious but did you know that as of like an hour ago he was still alive.. not that it matters because he is in critical condition in the hospital. but you have to dig pretty deep to find that out. if they wanted to kill him they could have very easily done it in one shot. - SabresFaninIndiana
So 7 shots was a warning ? Lol I love how people make excuses for the blue
Was the guy wrong ? Probably but did he deserve to be traget partice 7 times |

Johansson was NOT their 2nd line center, he played 3LW
Conor Sheary had 2 assists playing with Crosby and missed the net on a penalty shot.
Jesus, you're so desperate to defend Jason Botterill. Mojo had no business being a 2C and Sheary had no business being a 2RW. - jcragcrumple
Sheary had 6 points in 12 games as a Penguin after the trade. Which is a 41 point pace.
We traded a 4th rounder for him, and the "expectation" from that 4th rounder was for him to be a top 6 player and score a ton?
It's a bogus argument.
Sheary/Eichel/Olofsson
Skinner/Johansson/Reinhart
Undoubtedly produces better results than what we got. Sheary had 37 EV goals in 2 seasons before the trade here playing with a great playmaking center.
So instead of loading up the weak center spot with our two best play driving wingers, and giving Eichel two good shooters, they just changed lines every two minutes.

They should, unfortunately we don't live in fantasy land. People already female dog about taxes, imagine if we said we wanted to expand police forces by 20% so they can have enough time off to recharge and train? - Wetbandit1

Thanks. I just think it’s a bit of a stretch to think Risto for Tuch and Montour for Anderson. So I picked one of those, switched of course. That means DeMelo is prolly a dream and honestly I’m fine with the D core constructed. Top 10 in 5v5, just need better PK. - SDSabre
I don't think Montour for Anderson is all that far off |

I still fail to see what making the playoffs this year accomplishes. There are 22 teams golfing with the Sabres right now.
Instead we get another crack at a blue chip prospect in a year we were never winning a cup anyways.
There are realistically a few teams each year with a shot at the cup, the Sabres were not one of those teams. |

3 officers, 1 male? And the only way to subdue 1 man was to fire 7 rounds...

Damn they shot that man 7 times.... why can’t 3 officers subdue one male? I truly need answers y’all comment on everything else......

Love? Absolutely not. Could it have not been a complete black hole with competent lines? Sure.
The roster wasn’t good enough. Period. I agree.
We also didn’t trade for Sheary and go “tHereS a 3o gOAl scorER” and expect him to be a fixture on L1 |

No I don’t either. I’m saying I don’t think both would happen, but like Anderson and Tuch for us. So chose to keep Risto and acquire Anderson with a second in 21. |

Right.... You're making my point. We didn't even remotely put them in those spots.
So how on earth is that a "C/D acquisition that **We expected** to produce like a A/B player?"
We didn't acquire Sheary to be on L1. He wasnt on L1. End of story |

That fact aside, I think reasonable people can agree that your 2RW competition shouldn't be between vlad sobotka, Sheary and 35 year old Jason Pominville - jcragcrumple
Nevermind... you said "reasonable people" 😉
26 year old pommer with 24 year old eichel would be fun |
