I agree - have a condo in Estero - South of Ft. Myers, just north of Naples. Love it as the people on the left coast really cool (I'm told the east coast residents aren't generally as friendly). Don't get down there nearly enough, but, when retirement comes I plan to live there for 6 months a year and prob CT the other 6.

Wow - good to know. I've never been to the East coast (well since spring break college anyway), and have no need to go there. Other than the red algae thing and the occasion hurricane, the gulf coast is pretty perfect. There's even a Buffalo bar right near me called Buffalo Chips in Bonita Springs. A bit of a dive, but has Buffalo memorabilia all over the walls and has great buffalo food.

They sit on unemployment to earn an extra $600 a week so their paycheck can be close to the paycheck of the unsophisticated white males that earned everything they have in life.
