I don't disagree with you, but this statement is why I can't stand having a cap, we assess players way to much on what they are earning.
But I still would dislike Loui, even without a cap.

There is enough hacks going on throughout the game, so wouldn't surprise me if St. Louis has seen the video of him shaking his hand and trying to give a nice little hack whenever possible.

Motte's a decent 4th line player. He's certainly doesn't need to be played every night but he does bring energy which is all you can really ask for. His Bolland like performance last night was a bonus.

His problem was he was good enough to run the department, but no one is going out scout Benning, nor change what type of player he wants. People underestimate the vision that Benning has for what he wants this team to look like and the players that make it. Linden got blown out, now Brackett. But who cares - 1 guy should "try" to run the show under Aquaman, and hopefully the FA has figured out that he should stay out of the player decisions

How many give aways did edler do before he got cut? 3-4 major brain cramps. The last 3 minutes were easy sailing without him....just saying.....

I remember Miller taking his glove off on the bench so a trainer could put an ice pack on his wrist in one of the early games

If there are no fans in the arena right now, why haven’t they tried out many more angles for TV viewing sakes? I’m sure there are some cool ones they could test out now. Just a thought.

I expected a bit more of that as well. I really like the overhead/behind the net angle when 1 team is on the powerplay but they don't use it very often.
