Who in their right mind would have started Binnington tonight?

- NorthNuck

As soon as I heard he was back in tonight, I was pumped. He certainly proved his doubters right on this fine evening.

Sorry. I don't hold it against you and congrats on your Cup win. But seeing him get pulled is pretty sweet after this and the sour grapes about the Calder Trophy.

Plus he has the weirdest looking nose.

Was thinking the same thing, biggest reason this team rebounded was Allen playing well enough to win. Canucks did well but Binnigton couldn't make a save the first 2 games. Hard to believe they waited for 4 goals to pull him as well.
- belcherbd

I was hoping they would start him, Canucks have had his number all year.

Allen gave them solid goaltending. Think Berube was shooting for a miracle there

These late games are killing me. Thought it was the 3rd period already

Good for you for sticking around and taking the abuse. You have a cup now so you can take a few years off from emotional investment.

Which is weird, its not like the nucks looked unbeatable last game.

I think it was a huge mistake for them, and clearly glad they did it.

The Canucks would still be up, I think, but maybe only 1 or 2-0

Need to close this poop out. I don't trust a 4 goal lead.

I wonder if he's still mad about not being named rookie of the year...
- micah555

Whiner of the year is a decent consolation prize though.

Hard to cheer against the Canucks at this point. Good mix of players. Fast. Likeable group. Markstrom is better than I thought.
