As long as Ross sees time on all 4 lines, I'm good.

now that’s the best idea I have seen here.

Trotz explained. " I wanted to put a little more weight and grind into out game. I felt
- Puckin_Island[Game 4] some of our guys got liberties taken on us.
....We needed some weight to spend more time in their zone and wear them out a little bit. I think [Dal Colle and Johnston] provided that."

WTF Barry? Don't you know the forum gurus say you lost game 4 because the guys weren't skating? Don't you know they decided that physicality had nothing to do with the loss??

You need to not only read, but make an actual attempt to understand words before trying to dunk, son

Everyone has said Lou overpaid for JG Pageau...I beg to differ. Greene has been a solid piece as well.

It looks like the Isles will most likely be playing the Flyers next round, unless the Canadiens manage to win the next two games. Normally I would root for the Flyers to lose, but I'd rather the Isles draw the Flyers than the Bruins.

Have to agree. I also wouldn’t mind an Islanders, Flyers series. Should be fun.

I was kind of hoping to see the Canes instead of the Caps last year, and the Isles got swept, so I'll just leave it to the hockey gods this time.

I'm not discounting the Flyers. It will be a tough series and the Isles are the underdogs. I just think the Flyers are the lesser of two evils.

Yeah, maybe. The Bruins always do seem to "out-Islander" the Islanders. But I can also see Hart and the Flyers maybe bringing the Isles' offense to a halt real quick.

Either way, though, if the Isles keep playing the way they have, I think they can give any team a run for its money.

Have to agree Jimmy. Either team is a tough matchup but the Bruins have given the Isles fits.

He didn't keep them all. He let Spurgeon walk.
- JohnScammo

truly amazing that they let him walk for nothing under the "too many contracts" clause. They kept guys like Ness, Sim, and God knows who else to allow him to walk.

Just to say something negative.. Varly handling the puck behind the net is heart attack city. I have not been this nervous with a Goalie handling the puck since DP. .. just stop the puck and leave it for your D.

DP was actually pretty good as a puck handler...........until he started overhandling it.

Yeah, puck handling is not Varly's strength. But he's pretty good at stopping the puck, so I'll settle.

Jarro sucked, Lehner caused a couple bad goals with bad exchanges as well and Greiss is no puck handling dynamo either. Seems like the Canadian and American goalies are just better for some reason imho.
