Dylan Holloway will be interesting to see where he lands
last year at this time he was being talked about as a definite top 10 pick but he had pretty mediocre freshman season at Wisconsin, but he was playing behind guys like Turcotte and Caufield
teammates with k'Andre, so you know the Rangers like that Wisconsin thing - jimbro83
Interesting. |

I think letting him play in that scenario is far more palatable than another buyout. - JRR1285
you know, everyone loves to think of the goalie situation as a three player issue (really two, between Georgiev and Hank). But people forget that Tyler Wall is also in the system. Though he hasn't played a minute of NHL caliber hockey, he has all of the tools and the pedigree to be Igor's backup one day. That might play in to the org's decision on Hank/Georgiev. |

Another great point. So many variables to this situation. It's gonna be excruciating waiting for it all to play out. |

This is why the AHL season is a big deal this year (if, when, and how many games get played). The Rangers have several guys they need to evaluate, which will certainly influence what trades they make.
I see next offseason as one for bigger moves, not this year. But it's the Rangers, so you never know. |

I'm late to the party...I don't want TDA signed long term.
It has nothing to do with his politics. It has everything to do with the sum of the parts and the risk/reward
As others mentioned has had 1 good season...1...Let's not sign David Clarkson to our blue line please
He has been disciplined and traded multiple times as the result of what seems to be non-performance issues. Not interested in signing up long term for that. The goal in acquiring him should have always been to get him to perform and sell high...which is now
There has to be someone willing to pay a decent price for that level of production. With NY's lottery luck please by all means keep feeding them 1st rd picks. |

Domi makes to much sense from MTL. He’s a RFA that found his way on the 4th line on the playoffs. He’s behind Suzuki Kotkoniemi and Danault. The Habs fans seem to think we make great trading partners as well. Buch CAR 1st+ for Domi |

Are we trading for him to be a 2nd line center? Honestly would rather keep Strome. I would love Domi as a 3rd line center, but Chytil/Howden would be blocking him |

2nd line center, 2 years ago playing with the 2nd line in MTL he put up 72 pts. No reason he can’t get their again centering Panarin and either Kakko or Lafreniere. |

Yeah, but outside of last year he looks like 50-60 pt player, and really cant say I know much about his whole game(defensively responsible, etc.). There has to be a reason he went to the 4th line. Usually don't take an 80pt center and demote him that far.
Not saying it might not be a good deal, just don't know enough about Domi's game |

Points are relatively equal and I know C is more coveted but Domi is an RFA now vs Buch having 1 more year. Buch has also been playing 1st line RW vs a currently 4th line C...Willing to give up a 1st or Buch but not both. |

Just what I was thinking.
Domi was last traded for Galchenyuk. Would you trade a 1st for Galchenyuk? Or even Buch straight up?
I know it's not that simple, but this is a decent place to start to appraise Domi's value. |

so LAF is wearing 91? |
|
|
|
Mtl fans aren’t unhappy with him, he just lost his spot with the development of Kotkoniemi and Suzuki. Danault is their shutdown 3C and Domi wasn’t playing well on the wing so they moved him to 4C. |

I don't hate it, but I just don't think dealing Buch is wise. Who plays top 6 RW next year? Kakko and Kravs? We probably get to resign Fast, but then he's miscast in the top 6 in the short term (not something I mind at all, but the goal should be to get him situated in a bottom 6 role).
Maybe they can parlay that type of deal into dealing Strome for a bottom 6 role player and a pick?
Idk, seems like the team moves sideways in this situation simply to add some grit. |

Yea people are making to big of a deal out of this 3 LW thing. Panarin shoots right handed, I am sure he could play RW if need be |

i think that goes for the Defense too. These are professional athletes, they should be able to perform on either wing/side of the ice no matter which way they shoot. |
