True
How about AA?
Saad in Chicago but he's 1 year away from UFA... Tuch in Vegas would be nice but what are the odds? Take a chance on a guy like Crouse, hope he starts finding his way? I still say Bellows would be a great pick up! - obie

that'd be nice no doubt, but I think that the past 10 games showed they need help upfront more than a top LD. |

MB has all the assets to make that happen and turn this team around very quickly.
we all know how difficult it is to find a #1C or a top pairing dman. not the case here. he has to find 2 wingers. much much easier do to. - fidopro
sucks the habs aren't playing anymore, but at least we won't have to wait very long between the finals and the start of next season (well, technically, unless everything goes terribly wrong of course)... it was encouraging watching them play the way they did in the playoffs, so it'll be interesting to see where this team goes with potentially a few improvements and decent prospects added to the group |

I would love for the Habs to get Toffoli, but for that to happen, it will be if he cannot come to terms with Vancouver and Toronto doesnt sign him (keep in mind he is from Toronto and likely has a close relationship with Jake Muzzin from their LA glory days), would like to have him over Dadanov as he is a bit younger, bigger and right hand shot for RW |

Toronto wont be signing a F of Toffoli's caliber this off season, I think that's a safe bet... Toronto will try and sign Bogosian to a cheap 2 year deal |

I guess the thing is, there are not many available anymore. Would have been nice to get Lucic a few years ago but the last few years he's been floating on and off the ice |

my guess is they could apply the same concept, but with more hub cities..? 2 hub cities wouldn't work obviously to accommodate all the teams and schedules...
anyways unless there's some sort of fantastic breakthrough there still won't be anyone in the stands, or maybe they'll allow a third or a quarter of seats in the building to be used or something like that |

Would love for the Habs to get a power forward, don't know who is available for UFA (assume some pay attention to how the Habs play during these playoffs and wants to come) or through trade, and at what price

Maybe only play within your division during the regular season
Have 2 hub cities for each division but then you run into the problem of keeping players away from their families for a long period of time... maybe they could rotate schedules between divisions so players have games for 3 weeks and off for 2 weeks and they can go back home? |

Toffoli is hot and cold... and a right handed shooter, preferably they would look for a lefty, I think
Hard to get an established one, rarely available through trade and overpriced in FA |

I'm looking at who might be available. Do the same with power forwards if you want. |
