Pettersson is so fun to watch. He's going to be great for a long time. I figured Van would wake up for game 2 & elevate their play. I hope they pull the upset. I like a good underdog.
Chieffy, I don't see how they could beat them any worse. Game 1 was very embarassing.
Even better, the almighty Lehner gave up the goal. More will follow. - I Am The Breadman
DAL vs VGK is going to be one heck of a WCF. |

honestly as a gm I'd be leary to ink guys who have had multiple head injuries - BetweenTheDots
I’d be surprised if Crawford isn’t back. I still think the ideal situation is for Crawford to return on a 1 year deal playing 55-60 games. Then, Stan acquire a young goalie for the future to ease into the starter role and learn from one of the best ever.
While the Penguins only increase their CAO hit by $1.2 in today’s deal that makes their goaltending situation more precarious. Nylander for Jarry? |

Dallas has been a force. Either taking charge or comebacks of a lifetime. I really want Pavelski to win a championship. |

You say 55-60 games, but how long will next season be? When is the start supposed to be? I think that needs to be considered too, I would think.

55-60 games assuming an 82 game season. If the season is shortened, then Crawford can play 65%-70% of the games, whatever that may be. |

I think Crow will help a young guy like Larry Bowa helped Shawn Dunston...

Good with 1 year deals, i was really thinking about Caggiula, as much as i like him, I'd have trouble signing him to anything longer than a 1 year contract |

I think The Drake is gone, but I’d like to see him back. |

The quality of the shots matter too, but I hear you. Cooper has to do anything he can to win, his job is definitely on the line. It was a good game.
Darth, I hear you, I just wonder if a short season affects his contract - length or dollars. I'd give him the net for the majority for whoever is deemed a backup, whether they're in the system or traded for, to get more time to develop. *please don't spend a first round pick on one.* |

I really like the Canucks game plan every skilled player they are rubbing with or without the puck, Marchessault, Smith, Stasny, Stone, Schmidt, Martinez |

Giolito authoring a no hitter through 8IP. Pirates have a pitcher named "Never askus" Same pronunciation even with his spelling of name.
Update: he got his no hitter. No wonder as Pirates have weak lineup |

Hope you are right.
The Leafs tried to play Kapanen on his off wing and he couldn't do it. But he is a pretty good player with lots of speed and can kill penalties. But the Hawks didn't need another small winger, they need a road grader with some skill and nasty. Unfortunately guys like Alex Tuch and Jake Debrusk don't grow on trees. - RickJ
And they never draft them. Only all euros and Americans until Dach |

They want to trade Murray and some teams will want him. I think Jarry is better and I believe the Penguins do too |

Agreed, but teams will want Jarry and the Pens may be left with no choice but to deal him. |

Yeah, that was pretty brutal. You would think with all of the tech the league has and uses that they could correct that call. |
