That's just a wet dream, Eriksson isn't going anywhere unless they trade him.

Never laugh at your opponent it backfires everytime, I would use that as motivation the rest of the series. Good game boys, the seconD wasn't good but a big goal by petey.

Willing to make a bet on this one because its a must move to sign the other players. LE has made so much money he's not sticking around for chump change to ride buses to end his career.

So he'll take the MTA if he wants to keep playing in the NHL. He probably thinks another team will give him 2x2 or something like that. I just know this is the only move that makes sense because trading him is not an option cost wise no matter what angle is tried.

It might be worth it to trade LE + 1st rounders for cap dump if we can keep Toffoli.

$5million is chump change? He will never get another contract in the NHL unless it’s league minimum, and even then I have serious doubts any team would actually do that deal.

Just send him to the minors and save the million, trading a first to rid yourself of a contract is very Leaf’ish, never go full Leafs

there is a report of how LE has lost a bunch of money investing in a restaurant chain, he needs all the money coming his way no matter how much hate comes with it

Yup over the tens of millions he's made he's not trading 1st class life for motels and buses. Its a pride thing if anything plus getting spoiled you don't eat dirt for some more money. If he thinks he can play still and knows his contract is the issue he'll say like Bogosian f'd I'll find another role somewhere else.

I really don't care what he signs for or if he does. Its just sure as poop he won't go to the AHL. If you think he'll never get another contract he'll take retirement over living the minor league life.

Amazing game by Petey.... he really set the tone from the first shift drive. They really targeted him. That cheap shot head hunting targeted hit they made on him shows you how much Petey got to them.

Now imagine if QH figures how to get around the press on him and starts dancing out there.
