Why would he MTA when they seem poised to buy him out? - neem55
Contract is buy out proof do the math on Capfriendly if you want they save nothing that way cap wise.

The final bonus payout just sets up the waive and MTA situation if he doesn't retire. There just is no way JB keeps LE around if it means he loses players he's traded for or needs happy on the team. |

Yup over the tens of millions he's made he's not trading 1st class life for motels and buses. Its a pride thing if anything plus getting spoiled you don't eat dirt for some more money. If he thinks he can play still and knows his contract is the issue he'll say like Bogosian f'd I'll find another role somewhere else.
I really don't care what he signs for or if he does. Its just sure as poop he won't go to the AHL. If you think he'll never get another contract he'll take retirement over living the minor league life. - NuckUp

I could see a trade, can’t see him leaving that much money. Maybe if the MTA was enough money. Trade seems more likely. |

Too costly. No one in flat cap era picking up that contract without a king's ransom in return. |

Like I said, that's too costly to do when you got, the get out jail free card, of waive and MTA to pull. |

there is a report of how LE has lost a bunch of money investing in a restaurant chain, he needs all the money coming his way no matter how much hate comes with it - onesmallleap
Chump change!!
Why ride a bus for $5M (which is more than most make in their entire careers) when you can say (frank) it, i'm gonna make more in my new career! |

Tried to find it on his IG, couldn't see it. Dude seems like a fûcking idiot - NewYorkNuck
I thought the guy must be young to get caught up in social media BS like that.
But he’s 30... a true pompous millennial. |

It started on twitter right after the game, then he started deleting posts, and his account was locked, and then it spilled over to IG. Bat poop crazy that one. |

I think we did a lot of damage to their heads in game 2 . If we win game three look out. Reeves one shift in the second. No chirping . Enjoy the hockey . |

What a huge difference with Toffoli in and Loui out . I also thought Sutter had a very strong game last night. |

I love seeing a cocky douche get humbled. Didn’t get to watch more than a few minutes of the third, but from the radio broadcast and the comments here, it sounds like the Knights out played them for most of the game? One of this teams strengths however, is timely scoring. When they’re on, they only need a few opportunities to win a game. |

We won the first period.
The refs awarded the VGK 4 minutes of 5 on 4 with two crappy calls in the second ( I haven't complained all playoffs about the officiating) . AS they say sh1t happens but it did steal the momentum. We came out still with a nice goal to tie the score in the second.
The third period we were winning the first half and scored and then Vegas came out guns a blazing throwing everything at us. |

I’m getting a whiff of over-confidence coming from the Vegas bench. Could work in our favour. If Marchessault is an example of that team’s attitude then our team’s chances might be improving. |
