I love seeing a cocky douche get humbled. Didn’t get to watch more than a few minutes of the third, but from the radio broadcast and the comments here, it sounds like the Knights out played them for most of the game? One of this teams strengths however, is timely scoring. When they’re on, they only need a few opportunities to win a game. - 1970vintage
Best part of the game last night for me was seeing that smug sh*t eating grin wiped the fawk off Reeves's face. |

I’m getting a whiff of over-confidence coming from the Vegas bench. Could work in our favour. If Marchessault is an example of that team’s attitude then our team’s chances might be improving. - bloatedmosquito
I think we can put the puck in the net as well as they can so they need to take us serious or they will be watching the next round from the cheap seats.

What a huge difference with Toffoli in and Loui out . I also thought Sutter had a very strong game last night. - VANTEL
You have to re-sign the guy. He's a perfect fit on this team.

We won the first period.
The refs awarded the VGK 4 minutes of 5 on 4 with two crappy calls in the second ( I haven't complained all playoffs about the officiating) . AS they say sh1t happens but it did steal the momentum. We came out still with a nice goal to tie the score in the second.
The third period we were winning the first half and scored and then Vegas came out guns a blazing throwing everything at us. - VANTEL
Wow huge bounce back by the club good on them. Marky holds us in in the 2nd.
We aren't getting favors from the refs especially with Sutherland out there. Is what it is have to beat them too.
Good on the boys for closing out that game in regulation.

Vegas is a beast but we showed we can hang right there with them. Build off that momentum and go. |

Vegas is a beast and two of the last three games we have hung with them. It is like watching your children grow up in front of you. |

Canucks got their poop handed to them in the second. Need to play better than that – might have to have a strategy change that with the long change to the bench, just aerial passes out and make sure you're not caught. With Vegas' speed it made for a constant pressure situation.
The shot clock was very lopsided, but unlike the first game I felt the Canucks held them to the outside a lot more. Read that the high danger chances/shots were tied 14 each. Canucks just converted on theirs |

Not to get too far ahead, but really looking forward to what next year lineup brings. I was against TT coming back, but after last night the idea is growing on me. He seems like a better, more offensive version of Pearson: defensively responsible but not always noticeable, not fast, but in the right place at the right time. |

The only question is cost. Must fit within the established pay scale or GTFO. |

It is okay to think ahead . We don't actually control anything

I hope he likes it enough to want to be here. Playing with Petey and Pears hopefully convinces him.
I think we'll see a fair amount of change for next year. Some of the bottom 6 guys moved out ($$), a few new guys coming in. |

Love it, because it pushes Boeser down to Horvat's line, and he’s become somewhat of a passer instead of a shooter, Bo Horvat is not a great passing center, he needs a passing winger.
It gives the team two legit scoring lines |

That Alexander Holtz in this year’s draft looks like a legit NHL sniper. |
