Toffoli would be a great addition, but also seems like the least necessary re-sign at this point. Tanev and marky have both been instrumental in making it this far.

I didn't watch Johnson's game enough this past season but isn't his defensive game a little suspect? He's a good pickup for a team but I don't think this is the right piece for the Leafs.

Dreger reporting a first round pick and cap space to the Leafs for Kapanen. That would mean Pitts does not have a first or second this year and no first next year.

okay that makes sense. pitts dumps a player and leafs get cap space and a pick.
seems like a backwards step for a team that should be poised to take the next step (leafs). makes me so sad.
