Adding 2C center that’s been mentioned a bunch of times the past couple years. It will absolutely helps lot players in more beneficial roster slots.

Well we have 1/3 of a 4th line right now. If we can fix the 2nd line, it should allow players to fall were they should be.

Getting a legit 2C without trading Reinhart allows Reinhart to slide up and down the lineup without really any production drop.

Colorado literally acquired 5 of their top 9 forwards this past season (Kadri, Burakovsky, Donskoi, Namnitsnikov, Nichuskin) and gave up Tyson Barrie, Kerfoot, 2nd and 4th round picks and used existing cap space.

You can take your facts and kindly leave sir. This type of logical argument cannot be spewed here.

This trade takes a
60 point winger and replaces him with a 60 point center. Think you win with assets here, but if you want to be better tomorrow, you get (Monahan or 2c) and keep Reinhart.

No I'm not opposed to trading Reinhart. I just don't want to see a lateral move.

Yup. There are. Find me a move that brings in a center and a RW of Reinhart's quality (and fit for Eichel) that doesn't use 8.
