Murray to Carolina or Calgary. - CupOnBroadSt.
I think CAR is an ideal fit and while I don't always buy into no trades within your division, I don't think they'll deal Murray in the division. |

HomiedClown you certainely are a clown. Your still crying that Lehner is having huge success and your Sabres still don't have a goalie. Get over it and appreciate the fact Lehner has overcome many obstacles and is a great person. |

M. Murray can't stop a beachball and more often than not he is injured. Getting a first would be excessive but JR has done some amazing deals and also some terrible deals. Lehner will be the prized fa goalie imo If I was a GM I would go to Russia and bring back Timur Bilyalov, a recently turned 25 year old that is the best goalie in the KHL. He had better numbers than Shesterkin and Sorokin and he want to explore the NHL. I have heard he recently signed a one year deal to stay in KHL because of Covid 19 and the big question mark that has for next year. But he is coming and he is free to the highest bidder. |

I’ll expect images from both of you, as a minimum. Preferably a vid.
I have no clue whether JR will manage it, I just really want to see someone actually eat a hat. |

A top 20 first for sure but maybe the Ottawa pick at 22 works.

Why would anyone spend a first on a goalie when both Lehner and Mackstrom can be had for nothing more than a new contract? Even lessor options like Khabby in Dal, Crawford, etc, will be available. Even the King can be had for song for any team with cap space.
Granted, Edmonton, Calgary, Carolina, Buffalo, Chicago all need goaltending options/upgrades, but a 1-15 draft pick for a player the pens have to get rid of to create cap space and clear a log jam? - GrimmdaGoalie You might want add Ottawa to your list of teams in need of goaltending upgrades

So your source made a crack about dominoes and then suggested the Ducks were kicking tires on Matt Murray?? I like this source. What else does he say? |

If Kapanen can get a first then Murray should easily get one as well from so many teams desperate for a young starting goalie that has won the cup twice. - islansjet
by all accounts it sounds like the leafs asked a bunch of teams and no one was willing to give up a first for him besides rutherford. so unless rutherford trades murray to himself, murray will not net a 1st round pick. also to note, rutherford no longer has a 1st available so in conclusion murray will not get pittsburgh a 1st round pick by himself. |

I think the Devils really want to see if Blackwood is the franchise goalie they drafted him. He might yet be. The talent is there. |

MAF starts today and wins. He will get his chance to win the job. The schedule calls for two goalies and the hot goalie taking the lead. |

Sure. But same thing... why give a 1st when you can just sign one of the UFAs?
Dorion has said he is fine with goaltending.
Remember when the Sens had both Bishop and Lehner? |
