i dont think most of us even know who that gloating brainlet is. Isles are scary and Flyers were incredibly lucky to get the W off of a fluky goal in OT. our bottom 6 in particular got CAVED in all game long.

Had a couple Flyer fans over here gloating a bit which is unusual for you guys you’re usually a good bunch on here. Funny how they disappeared when we tied it up and came back after you won. Whatever, we beat on each other on this thread more than anyone else does to us we can take it

I did not think the Isles were going to sweep Philly. I think it will be a tough series with a lot of back and fourth. What I liked about yesterday's game however and it should make Philly nervous is that unlike Isles teams of years past. This team does
not quite on you.

Now if we could only get the Power Play to work consistently. This team would really be dangerous.

Just that comeback alone should make them nervous but boy if we could have won that on OT that would have been huge.

Very true. However, these things happen in a 7 game series. Isles shouldn't have put themselves in that position to begin with. I expect a MUCH better effort in the 1st period tonight.

Should have won it in regulation on that PP. Had it on his stick.. kills me. they would be calling for AV's head today instead of praising him.. from the Early pull in game 1 to that challenge. It would have been perfect.. now we are in a dog fight and have to show up big time tonight.

Not sure how they could come out that flat in OT after that comeback.. brutal.

Isles seemed deflated for that OT and knew they missed a huge chance on the PP.

That was a deflating loss, wasn't it? Care to trade Varlamov for Hart? Our top lines are waking up, and that means trouble for the Islanders. They'll be home from the bubble very soon.

I was thinking yesterday that the NHL would cancel tonight but now reports the NBA will continue the season.

Yeah lets support the marxist rioters. wth? they tore the city apart yesterday because some black murder suspect shot himself in the head to avoid capture. lots of protesters saw it happen but they blamed the police and rioted.i guess they shouldnt try to arrest him? i wont watch any sport that supports this crap.

It's very nice of the NBA, MLB and NHL to cancel their games tonight so that all can tune in to listen to our president speak at the RNC. God Bless them !!

This benefits the Flyers. I would rather the Isles face Hart on less rest.

This world has gone (even more,) batpoop crazy. Everyone selects the alternative reality that fits their narrative and then expects the world to follow in lockstep.

He's 20... I can't imagine fatigue is an issue for him at this point. I am happy the Isles get another day to practice and heal up. Clearly they were tired in OT after that effort to tie it up.

It most certainly does. Despite the loss, I would say the isles looked far more fresh in the second half of yesterdays game. Not to mention the momentum of the comeback. A day off is most unfortunate

IMO, even at 20, one can be mentally fatigued, even if not physically. I also think the OT was decided by a fluky goal (double deflection) more than by the Isles' fatigue.
