Well actually talking to the people effected is different than saying “im not racist, i have a black friend”. Im sorry you don’t see the difference, but actually taking the time to listen to the effected group is much more meaningful than anything you’ve said or the point you’re trying to make.

Ive got too much debt, need to work. I will show my solidarity in other ways and continue to be a vocal proponent of BLM

Maybe if they agree, they could also respond that the NHL are being used as pawns and being shamed into something that should be taken on as a North American crisis.

Every person that agrees with this movement should step up and refuse to work until racial injustice is dealt with, otherwise you are all hypocrites not willing to take the stance that the NHL is being shamed into.

And I'm not whining about postponed hockey games, I'm pointing out that everyone should stand by their convictions with action.

I like how Abby Johnson thinks. She believes in one home/one vote. Husband gets to make the decision regardless of what the wife thinks. She just spoke at the RNC convention to re-elect Trump.

You were called out for using, what is considered to some, an offensive term. Your explanation is 1) it's not offensive to your generation; and 2) you can't be misogynist because you have female friends and they don't consider the term or you to be offensive.

whattt? athletes skipping work is a lot different than anyone here missing work. at most who notices when we are not there... like 50 people? athletes skipping games literally brings their message to millions of people in an instance. i get that people are annoyed that the games are not being played but saying we should all miss work for the cause is apples and oranges
