Lots of talk on moves by Canucks for opening Roster. Either Rodin is an uncertainty in returning any time soon or Virtanen is one on sticking is the the only reason to sign Skille now. It puts Etem on the outs and some one else later. But by then we might have other injuries. Given the extra bodies there won't be any call ups from the farm any time soon. Especially waivable players. If they are down they will stay down unless there are serious multiple injuries. If that happens it doesn't bode well for a play off run. So don't expect to see anyone who goes down. That's why Virtanen needs to play and learn the game in the NHL not AHL. Skills is not a true substitute for Virtanen but he could be for Dorsette. Who isn't as big and takes dumb penalties and stages fights he loses. He's not needed here and hopefully gets buried in the minors as there are probably zero trade partners even for a 6/7 rounder out there. Rather see him go down then lose Virtanen. He won't learn how to score in the NHL by doing it in th AHL look how many AHL scorers are cut and can't do it cause it's just not the same. Only thing you can develop in the AHL is defense awareness, skating, and hitting as the skill set to score in NHL doesn't translate from the AHL.
That was the lockout year and rosters were different not typical AHL.... plus when Kessler payed in the NHL he didn't become a reliable goal scorer for years. He had to learn to do that playing NHL minutes.... the AHL helped his defensive game and he got stronger there which is what translated into his NHL play when he came up. BUT he had to learn to score while up here. You don't seem to get that and every player will tell you it's a faster different game that they need to figure out and adjust beifroe learning to score. Baertchi scored a ton in the NHL so did Vey but only omen of them learned to do it in the NHL by playing up here
Whether music politics what have you for decades that rag has lost much respect in it's overall publishing no matter what the topic. Independent writers still go through Rolling Stones filters and editing. Now I'm sure a decent article sneaks through like you said but it's rare. Like most publications very biased in nature no matter the 'independent' sources lol. But believe what you gotta believe bwah...
And yes their music reviews suck lol - LordHumungous
Everyone can’t be a legendary metal band like Boston.
