"The NHL is working on Saturdays schedule of games now, but postponement is expected to extend through tomorrow. All 8 remaining teams impacted."

Good grief....
this decision by the NHL is obviously image-based. Be it right or wrong, the public perception is that hockey is primarily a white sport. I think they made a decision like this ultimately trying to avoid being singled out.
It's just such a garbage validation to take a stand on

I feel Eliminating God from our daily lives is the reason things have been so bad lately. There has always been problems just not to the extent of the last number of years. I do not mean to try to convert anyone. We all have free will and the right to believe in what we want. Things in just the last 3 years have really gone off the rails.

I’d hesitate to name that as the primary reason for recent societal ills. After all there have been many equally tumultuous periods of disorder in human history, and many of those periods knew strong followings in the major monotheistic faiths.

Instead, I suspect our current situation to be very similar to age of discord brought about by the industrial revolution, which saw great deal of change in a short period of time. Except our current revolution isn’t industrial, but rather informational (internet, social media, etc). The similarities between the two are eerie in many ways.

Now repeat after me.

female genitalia.

Very well said Schwein, an overload of information both true and skewed. People don’t know how to handle it. Interesting to say the least.

I really wanted to put a GIF of Will Farrel falling faint at the end of the debate scene in Old School, but I'm on my phone

Nothing wrong with a little religion. Obviously it’s not a subject to bring up along with Politics. I will say I think there’s an over load of politics and not enough religion lately.

It's an overload of info that is presented with slants (right and left) and often in haste. No one can wait for the story to be confirmed. It's all about who can get the story out first and does it meet the necessary narrative.

Ahhh I don’t care I can talk about anything and not get offended besides whether I think a player had a good game or not. That I’ll completely lose my mind over.

The worst part is now I’m gonna have to watch some chick flick with the wife. Cpt I’m assuming will be watching Barney or take out the ice cream truck for a troll around the neighborhood.

Let’s keep the political BS out of sports as it is infecting everything else at this point in time. Just sick and tired of the political process in this country.
UK has it right campaign for 6 months vote and be done with the money wasting truth twisting political BS. That goes for Republicans and Democrats. Their all full of shat and only give a crap about themselves or their agenda and not serving us or doing what’s right for us.

"Let’s keep the political BS out of sports.."

Goes on to make long winded political statement.

The Ritalin Kid strikes again.

..anyway, I can wait until tomorrow to see the Islanders get whooped again.
