The one and only Dave Logan. A 5th rounder that Bob Pulford was going to make an adequate NHL defenseman.

Logan suggested to coach Orval Tessier that he should get more PP time after scoring the game before. He was promptly sent packing to Vancouver.

I felt sorry for Bob Murray because he was saddled with covering for this clown as a defensive partner.

According to a source, Tallon is being accused of using racially-charged language at some point during the team’s time in the Toronto postseason bubble.

The Panthers were part of the league’s expanded postseason and traveled to Toronto where they were dispatched in four games by the New York Islanders.

What, exactly Tallon is alleged to have said, is not known nor is the setting of where it was supposedly said.

Tallon has been known to use salty language during the course of a game, but is not known for anything of this sort.

I remember when the Hawks not only didn't televise their home games but they delayed the radio broadcast start until 8:15 which usually coincided with the 1st intermission with the 7:30 start.
Lloyd Pettit and Lou Boudreau aired the 1st period highlights at that time. If there was a big fight or injury that extended the 1st period, we were lucky enough to hear the last few minutes of the period.
