Hasek has two as well. - rpeters01
Yep, but nobody is debating how good Hasek was, should have kept him over Belfour. |

What a choice. Whom would you choose as Florida new GM
Eddie O
Chiarelli
Neither - jhawk59
How could anyone who knew Chiarelli's previous GM posts even remotely think of hiring him . |

The story as I heard it, was that the dollar amount proffered by Eddie was actually “a bazillion” dollars. Which as any drunk would know beats a mere billion dollars any day. - Ogilthorpe2
Of courses it does, I f'd up. |

They where both awesome. Although in the end belfour did outdueled hasek for the cup. But hasek was a better goalie overall that I agree with.
What was the reason hasek was traded? I cant remember why - Taylorst1
They were both whack jobs. Goalies, I guess. But at least Belfour was North American, and Canadian at that. And that's why they launched Hasek instead of Belfour.
Hasek used to want to drive guys to practice because he wanted to collect gas money from them. People talk about his snow angels, but the one big thing he did different was when he was scrambling around he would drop his stick. Goalie sticks are cumbersome at best, so dropping it made a ton of sense to me so long as he didn't try to catch a high heater with his stick hand. Hasek all day over Belfour for me.
Seems management just preferred Belfour's bullpoop over Hasek's. |

I’d try to build a team that’s a combination of my favourites and ice a competitive group.
Sharp - Toews - Kane (always loved the nuclear option)
Amonte - Roenick - Hossa
Byfuglien - Shaw - Thomas
Frolik - Kruger - Bolland (best 4th line ever)
Panarin, Saad
Keith - Seabrook
Chelios - Suter
Hjalmarsson - Oduya
Wilson
Crawford
Hasek
Belfour

i mean, it is kinda hard to take a conversation with a guy who think Bernie Nicholls was a solid 2-way player seriously.
Nicholls was a lot of things but solid defensively wasn't one of them. |

Amonte did play well for the Hawks. I like his speed. I was laughing at Frolik cause many seem to forget how useless he was until Q moved him down to the fourth line |

I’m clearly in the minority... but to wake up and watch the Tour de’France and then watch playoff hockey in the evening... is my Nirvanna.

OMG what is the storyline in the Dallas-Colorado Avalanche game today. The Avalanche is down, 3-0, period one. They are down on dmen, notably E Johnson appears to be a huge loss. Upsets their pairings, eh? Moreover, the Avalanche will be down, 3-1, if they loose today.
For Dallas, their top line is not always together, and if they are, not always clicking. But all cylinders appear full throttle. And Gurionov is scoring much. Dallas turns to Khodobin in goal since their ace is injured. This is an underdog team but they seem to come together the last two playoffs. Definitely have two good offensive dmen but the first line and depth has always been questionable. Looks like the Avalanche is reeling. Anyone watching care to contribute to this upset in the making
Stat line: is this correct with about two minutes remaining period one the shots total is 10-0 for Dallas. |

My favorite guy not on this list is Steve Smith. What a hardass. He made the Chelios pairing as much as Chelios did. Nothing but sandpaper. When healthy he will abuse anyone coming into the crease. He's Seabrook with an attitude. |

Steve Smith was a bad ass. But for those who want to know how tough Tie Domi was... Steve Smith got into a fight with Domi... and Smith planted his foot wrong... and he broke his leg. Ouch... |

Planted his foot wrong because he was out after a Domi uppercut and went down awkwardly in a heap. |
