Reaves is playing like Shawn Thornton did.
The Canucks just seem to elevate players like that. They need to have someone like that. Toughness that can skate and play. When was the last one? Brashear?

Tim Thomas had a .967 sv% in the finals which was the biggest reason they won. Everything else was noise IMO. Vegas has good goaltending but isn't the story for them.

Well it's better than being down 2-0 I guess.

Reminds me more of Lucic. Just no one to stand up to him. He's a bully, and his personality comes from knowing no one can make him shut up. Which is fair, dude is a big man.

Either someone has to catch him with a few solid hits, or start taking runs at their star players. Last few shifts can see them hitting Hughes up high and taking that run at Boes.

I think a player like Torres is more valuable for the nucks, need a guy that the other team needs to be aware of. A designated goon doesn't do anything but play into Reeves plan.

I wish we had a player or two that were attacking Stone, Patches, Theodore each and every shift.

A designated goon is useless.

I think the team needs a big body that can skate and isn't a defensive liability. Brashear could play. He actually had hands that could make plays as well as lay guys out.

If Jake had the mentality of Torres that would be great... But he doesn't.

Not getting enough quality shots on net. They just have to fight through it. MAF is very beatable.
