Looks like Tanner has justifiably been fired. He posted a politically charged rant calling all people to the right of midline racists and dirtbag chumps, flipped half the US and majority of the people giving him clicks the bird and stated he broke the blogger rules and code of conduct to make his little speech.

It's not that so many people can't stomach a alternative point of view; it's how polarizing and demeaning he was and just like his hockey thoughts, he didn't say what he truly thought, but made up biased garbage to get clicks.

Jimmy called anyone who didn't agree with him a racist or white supremacist. In the end he exposed himself to be the biggest racist of all by what he said in his last blog. It always amazed me how a guy living in Canada thought he could stand on his soap box telling Americans (and Canadians) what to think. All the while claiming to be original and different as he ripped off word for word what he saw and heard on CNN. On a HOCKEY blog no less. Sitting in his little safe space with no fear of consequences or accountability while posters who challenged him were banned repeatedly. Nice double standard.

Tanner is the laziest writer I've seen on here. Guy fancies himself a journalist but won't watch the games or do the work, and to mask his obvious lack of knowledge he throws out stupid exaggerated statements and then blasts anyone for saying otherwise.
