I betcha the Devils will be all in on Patrick Laine
get a big time winger to play with Hischier or Hughes
they have 3 first rounders and cap space - jimbro83
Very logical thought and I agree. But you're talking about NJ's management here, meaning probably NOT!

well they were aggressive last year going after PK
might be able to get Winnipeg to bite on PK in a Laine trade if Devils picked up half |

I don't want any part of the Devils getting Laine. I'm comfortable with our players coming up, but this division is quickly becoming very potent with young talent. Pit and Wash better watch out, they could be looking up at several teams and caught in quicksand if they don't take action soon. After the Pens awful trade for Kapanen, their future looks woof.

Another target for center could be Krecji. I know he’s old, but hes only got two years. Boston needs to get younger and they have some centers in the pipeline. Maybe Boston could keep some money even and then ideally you get some assets for Strome. He’s 50% on draws and defensive minded, just a better all around player then Strome. No doubt he could produce with Panarin too. And I doubt very much he’ll cost a lot via a trade. He does have a modified clause how we, which could be a hurdle. Anyway, another vet wouldn’t be the worst thing and like I said, it isn’t much of a commitment. And you probably can expose him to the Krakheads
Now I’ll don my helmet and wait for my pelting like I always get |

he's only got one year left actually then he's a UFA, wouldn't be a guy we could expose to Krak heads |

I misread then. Either way, it’s not a terrible idea. He’d be pretty valuable for a year with a young team. Worst case you get picks at the deadline |

Looks exactly like me and my brother. From the blonde hair and bowl cuts. Unfortunately I was 90% on the receiving side |

Av's being down 3-1 is way more of shock to me. I really thought they were going to the cup |

I think Rangers are after a trade like last year like they had with Trouba
the Carolina first rounder and one of the young guys like Chytil, Kravstov, Buch + for a youngish cost controlled center
I wouldn't dismiss that Monahan from Calgary idea |

You've had far worse ideas --- remember how you wanted to give away the farm for EK?
This one is not so bad... |
