All I'm saying is that time invested is a factor. From the Lou deal to AHL development to NHL backup to starter thats 5 plus years grooming Marky to be a pretty good goalie. Now I'm not saying give him a stupid contract like Lou but if you are keeping Marky you gotta pay him what he's earned and worth.

JB has to pay Marky the cheapest contract he can that suits the teams needs going forward. Whether it’s cap related or team build design or signing others.

Trade speculations will be the dominant sports news as the playoffs wind down. This off season with expansion and flat cap will have the most movement we've seen in years.

But I think JB will first try to keep the team together because of the chemistry that has formed. Look to internal upgrades next and lastly go for trades.

I’ve noticed we can play with VGK if we can sustain patience when when they cycle in our zone & not lose their check.

On breakouts VGK pressures the puck so well we need to be crisp & clean on passing & when we do that scoring off the rush has been there all series.

Once in their zone same thing. It comes down to to beat VGK it’s 60mins of execution & do what we do. Skating all game shows some warts & we can exploit that.

I always go to capfriendly & use the ACGM to run my roster ideas. It’s the simplest & most clear way to see the big picture. It’s too difficult to project the ins & outs if not.

Demko or Markstrom, I don’t think it matters. I’m sticking with my guy 4-1 Vegas. I think their bizarre loss to SJ last year has them focused (like Tampa in the East). This is a team that doesn’t want to give any hope to their opponent.
