Another bad #COVID19 day in neighbouring Washington state: 304 new cases (a relatively low number) but, worse, 16 people died. Cases will cross the 75,000 mark tomorrow, and total deaths are nearing 2,000.

Better #COVID19 numbers in BC today: 58 new cases (we'd avgd. 104 last 4 days). 1 death. 31 in hospital (+3), 10 in ICU (no change). 2761 in isolation. 1124 deaths.

I've read that a possibility (though probably farfetched) is an all-Canadian division, so that there wouldn't be as much Canada/US travel.

Yes could be bad negating our break outs & speed against an aggressive VGK. Be taking a lot more punishment & risk of getting hemmed in too much.

I dont have to, it is state dependent. AZ we don't have to do 14 day on return.

They're required to wear masks and they're filling to 20% capacity at most and enforcing social distancing.

The issue with MLB has been the players themselves if i'm not mistaken. Going to bars and such. That poop won't fly with NFL coaches. However, I will grant that a losing team will be harder to keep a handle on. Then again, if a vaccine is available these guys will have access to it among the first.

Anyway, your faith in NFL coaches keeping curfew is a bit exaggerated. C'mon!! Players get busted (literally by the cops at times) the night before the super bowl. I don't think social distancing happens in the VIP room at the "ballet."

Yes they will start a bubble season for the TV contract just like return for 2020. As posted its a 4 bubble city plan. Probably adding 2 more Canadian cities with rotations of teams among them to complete season schedule.

I have a direct flight back too, so the odds of someone coming from Vancouver and having it on the flight is very minimal.

Thankfully I'm staying in my parents basement, so it's not so terrible. I set up a small studio here to paint, so my days are pretty much the same as they are in New York. 10 hours of paintings, eating, and watching hockey at least I get some green space on this side

I'd have to Quarantine for 2 weeks on either side, so i'd need 6 weeks off for a 2 week holiday in Vancouver.
Not going to happen.

Football is notoriously militant. Young men are also learning the truth and making proper decisions. Those that aren't, many are getting released. Many also have immediate family that are higher risk.

Football is trying to contain it, MLB had teams changing cities every 3-4 days. Maybe the NFL gets stung somewhat due to the backdrop they're playing in. I think they'll make it work though.

I have to quarantine if I leave the Atlantic bubble upon my return. Can't even head to any other province.

I think Demko Domingue would be a horrible tandem and set the Canucks back about 10 spots.

I don't think with all the improvements the team made this year you want to go tinkering.
