The sooner we can get to 4 against Philly, the better the chance of no Kucherov. |

I expect Varly in net for game 5. Greiss was great but varly hasn’t done anything to lose his starting gig. Greiss did his job on the back to back and now it’s back to being a backup. |

I agree 100%.
Even if Varly had screwed up, Trotz wouldn't risk hurting his feelings by starting Griess again. |

I think putting JGP with Nelly Beau and Bailey has worked as far as moving the puck quickly high to low and have been successful in opening up the cross ice seem pass to Nelly or Beau on the Right side.
Also they have been cycling positions more and moving instead of being to stationary imho. - nyisles7
Did you write this yourself?
Great sentence structure and overall composition. |

There is your answer right there.. those 3 shoot the puck. In general our PP has been abysmal when we are passing the puck looking for that perfect play. As soon as Trotz put 3 guys who think Shoot instead of Pass it got much better.
Used to drive me nuts how many passes we make on the PP. Most goals are scored on a deflection or a rebound. get it to a guy with a lane to the net and crash.. Let's hope it keeps heating up. |

I think so too... but no matter what happens I am once again so happy too have a real coach making the decisions it will not matter.

This is the part that I think we've all known has been missing from the power play most of the year and in recent years past. The Isles have had a terrible tendency of planting in position or covering small areas when on the power play. Being able to cycle keeps the defense guessing, creates lanes and doesn't allow the goaltender to anticipate angles. There's been more movement as of late, but it could still be better.

For me, living in the Philly area this series is especially sweet. Life as a sports fan has taught me enough lessons in humility that I'm not really the type to rub victory in anyone's face, but I sure do wish this Covid crap wasn't going on so I could at least gloat a little in my office!!!! |

That 93 playoff run was so fun because it was so unexpected. Especially with Major Healy playing so well. This team seems similar. 93 team was better offensively but the league as a whole was more offensive. This team is better in goal and on defense. |

That year was crazy for me, since the Phillies (The only Philly team I cheer for) also had a magical run that year.
That 1993 Isles team was so good. Even though he retruned, Turgeon clearly wasn't the same in that Montral series. Two straight ot losses was a killer |

Going against Patrick Roy was tough enough especially with a banged up Turgeon. Both the Habs and Isles had something special going on that playoff year. I was at the Dale Hunter game. |

I hated Hunter before that incident. That cheapshot elevated him to "potential mail bomb recipient" |

Close it out as soon as possible. If the Flyers can keep it going only bad things can happen. |
