After last year I thought Vegas would be tougher (mentally), but I feel like now if the Canucks can manage to grind out a win in game 6 they’ll implode. It’s the social media outbursts, chicken noises, flopping about that makes me think it won’t take much to unhinge them. - 1970vintage
Yeah Canucks have been such a pleasant surprise. We have beat Vegas 3 of the last 6 meetings. We are getting a lot closer than expected.
One of the 10 best scenes in a comedy ever. Another favorite of mine from that movie was when he was 10 feet away and nailed her in the face with a snowball.

Jake has difficulty stringing 2 good shifts together at times let alone 2 good games. I hope our plan doesn't involve relying too much on his "efforts".

I don't think the team has planned to rely on his "efforts" at any point during these playoffs. Not when he started in the stands, not when he's getting 12 minutes a night.

I think they're going to need contributions from many skaters over the next 2 nights, possibly both goalies as well. That includes Jake. I'd rather have him in for one effective game than two ineffective ones.
You're going to have to lower some minutes for your top 6 with 2 elimination games, same as your top 4 D.
You'll need meaningful contributions from role players each game even if they aren't the same depth guys.
