Did Felix AA play?
- Canada Cup

He beat his 1st round opponent, but he faces Andy Murray tonight at 7 pm.

Not as sexy as William Nylander

One of Schneider and Guhle in round one and Mukhamadullin in round 2 would be nice. If Leafs could swing a deal with the Ducks for pick #6 and pick up Drysdale at #6 it would be amazing.

My favourite part is that he's from Vancouver.

I don’t buy that. Mirtle says they’re listening, not shopping
- Canada Cup

that's possible. mirtle is far from definitive.

but they are setting up the storyline that he needs to go. to me, it's a really bad idea to mind-(frank) your starting goalie with trade rumors if you don't intend to move him.

I don't have to get high to enjoy music. And because it is subjective, it is hard to state that music "isn't very good" unless we are talking about Milli Vanilli or similar lip sync artists.
- winsix

For the record, I never stated that any music was good or bad. I'm tone-deaf, so I cannot judge.

I merely stated that I didn't understand the cult-like devotion of deadheads.

I like Guhle over Schneider.

And I don't think Drysdale makes it to #6. I see him as picked 4th by Detroit (who badly needs some help on D).

It's at least four months away from opening night.

Plenty of time to kiss and make up.

Avs could be a darkhorse for Freddy.

Compher would be a good fit at 3C.

Pretty sure this math doesn't check out. But I get your point.

Honestly Wedgie: I respect you a great deal, but I have to call bullsh!t here:

I'm not a music guy (2 songs on my phone), but the obsession with the Dead baffles me.

I just don't think they are that good.

Surely there's other music to smoke dope to.

media will be all over it all year. trade freddy or not?

it's hard enough for goalies to be consistent without a circus. don't need to create drama for them.

You are probably right. Andersen to Carolina for the 13th it is then, pick up Askarov and Guhle

I am wildly pessimistic about the 2020-21 season.

How many owners will want to proceed with no gate revenues?

I thought they had already come to a new CBA agreement? I'm not sure the owner's can just say no.

Not playing would also lose all of their TV revenue (presumably). Maybe the season gets pushed back. But I'm willing to bet the season starts at the beginning of December and people fill the seats once a vaccine is readily available.

I don't want to stray too far off Hockey. But someone paid $140 Million US Dollars for this painting in 2006. Is it the most amazing painting you've ever seen?
