I was still happy-drunk from ‘69. Well, the under-age drinking equivalent thereof, anyway. |

The 80's were good especially for hockey.
I know I can count on you guys to root hard for the Islanders tonight. Hopefully we party like it's 1993 after the game. |

Sorry, but as much as I hate Philly I don't care if they win this series because (frank) the Isles. |

Rooting hard for a 7 game series with 8 OT periods ended by a suitcase nuke.
Problem solved. |

Outshot the Flyers by a wide margin for most of the game and OT. |

It’s been that way all series pretty much, they just get stone hands in OT |

Yeah, AV's epic fail should have sealed their fate but they couldn't put it away. Oh well, more hockey for me.
I'll be at my buddy's hand-egg draft on Saturday, I'm sure he will have the game on. |

just think though
say they bought out Hank, or traded him and kept half the cap hit, that's around 5 million
then they have to give Georgiev a new contract too, and the cap space is thin as it is
personally I think the best thing to do overall is to trade Georgiev for whatever they can get
let Lundqvist finish out the last year of his deal if he doesn't retire
put Huska in the ECHL
sign Berube to a 2 year deal and have him share duties with Tyler Wall in Hartford
now, if Henrik retires, then it's all gravy - jimbro83
The Lundqvist situation rests at the door of Sather. He gave him the contract, he made him the face of the franchise, and now that’s it’s time to go, it’s his responsibility to Have the “talk” with Hank. Not JD, not Gorton. This is a special occurrence in Ranger history, it needs to be handled correctly, but handled now.
Time to invite Hank out to Banff for some fishing, and reflection, convince Hank it’s in everyone’s best interest if he decides to fall on his sword. It is the right decision, he doesn’t have it anymore, he’s over compensating on his angles, in the name of trying to look aggressive in the net, frankly, it’s looks pathetic.
It’s time Hank, the jersey will be hoisted to the rafters, the moment this hideous virus allows fans back in the building. It’s only ego standing in the way. |

so if Dallas, the Islanders and Vancouver win their game 7's, we move up to 21 in the draft
I cant believe the Islanders have let the Flyers off the ropes |

I am convinced the Islanders could have 10,000 shots in OT this series but would still never score |

this series looks a lot like the Rangers Kings games in the finals, but this time AV's team is scoring the overtime goals instead of giving them up |

Also I read a rumor this morning that the Rangers offered McDonagh and Kreider to Edmonton back in 2016 for the 4th overall pick, did you already mention this? I wonder what prospect they wanted? I am guessing Sergachev. Wonder if they try to make a move for him again this offseason with Tampa’s salary cap issues |
