I’ve not been happy with the reffing. The interference has been crazy.
- Hextall271

Yeah but not the reason for the series so far. The flyers have been caved in for long periods of time.
I do agree the isles are good at the not quite a called penalty interference.

Isles are the better team ...

the Flyers have more Hart, though.

Barzal really looks like a young Giroux.

They were doing a good job of covering and harassing him. But they stopped when they went up 2-0 and after the 1st PK where the Isles scored. Need to get back to that.

Did you know ...

The Isles have not been to the ECF since 1993?

Fascinating bit of information from the broadcast crew.

Lindbolm looks slow, as he should
- wcorvette

Inspirational for him to be in the lineup but it has been clear as the game has gone on that he is not in game shape and doesn't have the legs.

I posted several times that I think that has contributed. Subtle interference and they’re better at it than us.

It's playoff hockey. Isles make the Flyers pay for every space. Flyers give the Isles too much space. Flyers need to compete harder in board battles.

I've thought about this, does it make it a bad move in the end? Bunnamen certainly would have had more legs but the emotional uplift of Lindblom in with Couts being out is real.

Don't you love their 4th line constantly outplaying and outhitting us? Martin and Clutterbuck have been making play after play. Czikas undressed #15 and draws a penalty.

It's not a matter of competing harder, it's reacting more quickly.

especially in their own zone.
