They should watch some tape of how the Flyers defensemen actually shoot the puck from the blue line. We play catch at the blue line. And, everyone and their mother knows Pulock is shooting. He’s the only one that does. |

Definitely a tough game for Mayfield, Pulock and Eberle. All three really seemed to battle the puck at times, Eberle especially.

More like, turn and head straight for the bench to get another rather than skating backwards to play the rush. He had the time....then fails to muscle the Flyer out from in front of the net and deflects it in himself.
Tough break, but definitely a play I'm sure he'd like to have back - keaner17
Ok starts with a broken stick. His fault come on :
He should have known his stick was gonna break.

Yes. Despite Trotz the team doesn't have the killer instinct. - JimmyP
They still do not have the horses. You cannot have a player on the 1st line like Eberle that disappears. Barzal needs a sure fire #1 wing. |

Comprehension is tough for you, I get it. I'm not getting on him for the stick breaking, I'm getting on him for what happened after the fact. |

I would include Pelech in that bunch. Honestly thought Leddy and Greene were the best D men out there tonight. |

I honestly don’t like our chances in a game 7. This team can’t finish this series. They played like crap the last two games before this and decided to play in the third. All of the goals tonight were off sloppy turnovers or terrible half arsed clearing attempts. I don’t think we win a game 7 and to be honest we don’t deserve too we should’ve never been in this position to begin with. - Cptmjl
They had a chance to go up 2-0 - but lost in OT
They had a chance to win the series 4-1 - but lost in OT
They had a chance to win the series 4-2 - but lost in OT

He's created a fair amount of opportunities but is really struggling on cashing in them. It's definitely the wring time for him to hit a cold spell |

Every Flyer goal tonight save for the OT goal were weak clearing attempts or terrible turnovers. That’s not how you win in the playoffs. Not enough traffic in front of Hart and to much playing cute looking for the pretty pass and here we are. |

I'm not sure how much tape the Isles should watch of the Flyers. The better team (by far) lost, and sometimes those things happen.
Should be a great game 7, though.

Tough pill to swallow. They found a way to lose a game they utterly dominated. This is a demoralizing loss that Barry has to talk them through.
Can't blame Varlamov for this, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Greiss.
I think it's the wrong time to throw Boychuk out there, unfortunately. Frankly there is no one I would want to take out for him right now |

Cpt after it was 2-0 the Islanders dominated the game. Shots were 42 to 17 at the end of regulation. They deserved better imho. A broken stick leads to a rush the other way instead of an offensive opportunity.
Tough break but what are you gonna do. That said they were the MUCH better team tonight.
They need to move on and play the same way next game.

I agree no reason to change the line up
Islanders were the better team but didn’t get the W.
Time to move on and get ready for game 7.
Also just saw the replay and Mayfield goes towards the bench to retrieve a stick no ones holding one out to him |

Isles just didnt get the bounces tonight. They were on the doorstep with quality chances often. Hell of a game though. Hopefully Game 7 is an epic. |

I'm not saying they are done. They're not. I give it a 50/50 shot on Saturday. I'm disappointed they couldn't close it out. They had 2 two extra bullets in the chamber and couldn't get it done.
Who knows, maybe this will be learning experience for them. |

I agree they were the better team tonight but everyone of the flyers goals were off lazy plays tonight. Not the usual focus this team has. Also, my post was more in reference to gifting the flyers two goals early in this one and playing like listless zombies except for the third in the two games prior. That’s not how you close a series out. Have to put your foot on the other teams throat. They didn’t do that and here we are. They lose this series it’s on them. |

I'm not worried about this series. We were swept last year. Now, we've gone to 7 in the ECSF...we've all imagined the thought of the Isles in the " final 4 "......WE ARE READY. LET''S GO ISLES 🎉🎉 |

I gotcha. To lose 3 OT's games is unheard of. By a fluke you should win one. Isles were built on winning OT games in the playoffs. They need more heavy players with skill and not players like Cmac. |
