Tanev +3 last night 👍

4 years x 4.5m

At that pace, he projects to +33 to +36 over the course of an entire season.

+33 over 40 games? That's impressive. Wait, 11 games?

Yup, if the season was 11 to 12 games long, your mathing correctly.

Math is hard.

One thing I know for sure is that I don't think Tanev is the answer.

Tanev will likely miss more games than he plays.

I was going to do 50 games, but I thought the joke was more obvious at 11 - 12 games.

He would be great on a really low-cost deal, which I doubt happens.

He'll probably re-sign in Vancouver.

Better to trade for a dman with Andersen plus a third line guy to a team like Arizona. Not sure if OEL is a fit cap wise, or to Carolina trade for one of their top 4 guys who seem to all be pretty decent.

I figured he is always hurt, so that was the most the Leafs could get out of him.

It isn't. But Garf is easily triggered by anything I say because I used to make fun of his blog comments. I always thought he had a good sense of humour and it didn't bother him. But it's the exact opposite. That's why he creates alts now and comes after me. He fails each time but I do appreciate his effort. 👍 The Jack's Jorts gif sets him over the edge.

No to tanev.
He'll blow his load in the playoffs, get overpaid and back to sucking.
