Were you watching last night? Guelph has the main streets closed down this summer so the restaurants could have big patios. We were at a restaurant last night, Was quite a reaction when OG hit that shot. - Aetherial
Daniel Dale the CNN fact checker is a big Raptors fan and tweeted something like OH WHAT! when they and Twitter went crazy thinking Trump had done something. That was an another amazing moment from the Raptors. |

Most people are cheering for the Isles because Roger has been such a douche in every thread. 😛😎😜
And nobody in the league plays D like our rovers. 5 deep baby, who needs to play D when we have the puck all the time....

On Freddy. IMO it will depend on how much he is seeking with his next contract.
To rich for the Leafs, then for me, you need/should move him prior to next season starting. |

I'm looking at what many teams are spending on goalies who are having success and in no way can I think giving him an extension makes sense. |

ThunderNLightning, RippedFuel and MLew. Thunderjorts! 😂 Garf has his own blog again too. Sabres fans discovered that "Mark Pino" is actually Garf. It sounds just like Garf when you read it. I was recently banned for posting this gif right after his latest blog was posted...

That has always been the main point. I have never been an Ander7en fan, but I recognize that almost all other goalies have warts also. Before last year, Rask had a reputation as a bad playoff goalie I think.
The problem is that he hasn't been good enough to keep at all costs. If you are going to get mediocre goaltending in the playoffs, you might as well get an asset for Freddie, go cheap, and hope you can improve the defense.
Or do Nylander + Kerfoot for Price |

I know that Price remark is a joke...
But you are correct about Freddy. His contract situation is the issue. And given how many goalies area available, it'll be a massive mistake to keep him and let him leave for nothing next year. |

We can get Lehner cheaper then that, might as well sign Lehner he’ll be about 7x$8m I would guess....if he even wants to come to this team.

Think Dubas sees this as an oppurtunity to get a low cost cap hit forward to help the bottom 6 while getting a better or as good goalie in net with more certainty on his contract.
They need a 3C or a power winger for that 3rd line. |

Yeesh.
Max 6 Mil given what history tells us.
And the flat cap might make that number lower. |

Yeah, too many goalies available. He's still looking at around 6-6.5 per max imo for 4-5 years.

Goalies are the hardest position to predict. Team changes, and structure changes completly changes how they perform.

Can't even put into words what that Bobrovsky signing looks like. It's florida, so no oen pays attention, but organizationally crippling for years is what it is. |

We’ll see, maybe COVID (frank)ed it up for him but I think easily if it wasn’t this odd year.
The guy barely moves, looks like they just stuff him in his big gear and then tuck him into his net for the night |

Yep. There's 2-3 at any time that give you elite goaltending year to year and that's it.

No doubt in my mind that we regret that contract in the first year.
No big $$$ goalies unless they are home grown IMO.

Markstrom won't go anywhere. Demko is cost controlled and they aren't ditching the guy who was their MVP all year, including these playoffs until he got injured. |
