Nice semantics - he is so getting traded, makes absolutely no sense paying him $6 or $7 million when he hasn't delivered a playoff win. He's been good value for his contract, he's worth something in a trade, time to cash in and move on.

Went to the first ever Raptors game, Invited by Tom Bitove. Wife and I were his guests as they played in Halifax. We were big fans then and even bigger fans now.

Basketball is infinitely more boring. How many times do they shoot the ball into the basket each game? 100+ (combined)?

I mean, if I were to bring a cowbell to celebrate each scoring play in basketball, it wouldn't last the night.

Basketball is truly the great game of turning the channel for long stretches and then tuning in for 30 seconds to see how close the teams are at any given point. The only exciting time during a game is the last couple of minutes... which ends up stretching out for eternity.

Baseball is so great... One of the only sports where the Defense controls the ball.
Add to that the skill it takes to hit and pitch effectively. Awesome.

22 years of commuting Burlington to Queens Park while my wife mostly worked two blocks from home. We move here to be close to her mom when she was sick so I don’t feel guilty. First day of retirement I walked into woods and started laughing uncontrollably.
