I think you are right. But should Biden win, foreign policy including relations with Canada should improve. It's hard to imagine any political leader handling the pandemic worse than Trump has.

That and that issue with not being very good.

They'll get worse. What did Barry Soetoro do? He (frank)ed Canada over in keystone pipeline that would have helped keep Alberta's oil sector going that powers Ontario manufacturing and keeps Newfoundland employed... Alberta's energy industry basically pumps Canada's economy in manufacturing, technology, and keeps equalization payments flowing.
