I think this is going to be a pretty good offseason for trades and signings. Flat cap, unhappy teams (cal, leafs) and lots of decent free agents.

Askarov will be an NHL goalie in a couple of years, Carter Hart was 18, Price was 20 when they started playing in the NHL. In the meantime, Campbell is signed. There are perhaps a dozen goalies available as either UFA or by trade by the draft to tide the Leafs over. Corey Crawford for one and LV will be moving MAF. He watched from the bench last night as Lehner shat the bed an let in 3 goals on 19 shots while rookie Demko stopped 48 in a shutout.
