He’s not very good, trade him for Nylander. |

Demko did everything he could, can’t expect much more from the kid. |

Thanks, joe! I need to read up more on this goalie you suggested, Timur Bilyalov. Don't know much about him. - Theo Fox
I know he is under six foot... |

That kid had anyone who bet the Knights real nervous. What a show, great series. |

Looking forward to the Isles vs Flyers tonight. That one's been good too. |

Lehner faced 14 shots, did his job, and I still don’t want him on my team. Stay away Stan, bad attitude guys will cost you at one time or another. |

Could imagine Lehner loosing regular season shoot out games. His weakness is stopping break away. Could imagine missing playoffs by a point or two due to shootout losses. Of course the other side of the coin is Lehner got you to the shootout. Nonetheless I am not in favor of paying any goaltender mucho dinero while the team is under a rebuild on the fly..Stress the rebuild and do not hamper it with expensive goaltender free agent |

I’m not advocating for him, but you have to admit that it seemed like Lehner had the respect of the Hawks players considering how they all received him during the handshake line after the series. |

Any trade minus Strome is good. Strome is not ideal as a center and is not the guy you want third line. He can play #2 and or #3 center for a team lacking good players. He will loose a job here eventually. His skating is an issue. Sometimes skating can be overlooked - see Tavarez. But you need "just not slow" and he will never be ideal. Sure he has ability but.....I look forward if Barret can take his job. Hopefully Barret a bit better skater. But Barret is a yapper and will dig for pucks along the boards plus he has an attitude of being defensively responsible. This team needs this.. Those are all desirable against big physical teams or just deep talented opponents. Sorry Strome falls short in critical areas |

Chunk, he’s a good goalie, like Elbows I’m not a fan, something is not right there. Let somebody else overpay for him. |

Yeah, do we chalk his incredble performances as an anomaly, because what just happened affects their future, maybe.
From Spectorshockey rumors:
Demko’s performance against the Golden Knights could give GM Jim Benning something to think about in his negotiations with Markstrom’s representatives. Does he invest in a lucrative long-term deal for Markstrom or bet the future on Demko? Once that’s sorted out, Benning will have to find sufficient cap space to re-sign or replace pending UFAs Tyler Toffoli and Chris Tanev."

So Dach is best suited to be a #2 already? Is that where we are at? |

That should be the case some point next season. But it is a long season and Strome will have opportunities. And when I say long season, it really is a grind when there is a condensed schedule. There is also injuries to deal with, even minor injuries.
Dach is coming of age. In more ways than one. On the other hand, Strome lack of defense coverage makes the dmen job a tougher assignment.
When I played I had an edge and I work my *ss off. If you don't work I am in your face. Go play with the ladies or recreational. That's just how I view it. Strome cannot keep up so eventually he cost too much and we find a replacement |

Yes I'm with you on playing with an edge, working as hard as possible and being aggressive all the time. So basically they are going to be moving around the lineup probably |
