If you think fishing shows suck, you have to see this smoke show fishing

I should have switched to "The Kids Are Alright" on TCM. But I alsoshould have looked at the guide before the game so I could DVR it.

Sure, sure, I never said he is a sack of poop. He is a very good player.
But as someone pointed out a couple of days ago, more a 1B on a contending club than #1. Its not that Provorov is bad. Its how good your #1D usually is in such situations.
Some people seem to see him in the Norris conversation. He is not even remotely in that crowd. - PT21
Totally.
He's going to need a solid partner to replace Niskanen soon.

You can call this an overreaction but to those complaining about the dense, unless you name is Justin Braun or Shane Gostisbehere, I’d leave it alone. I thought Provorov, Sanheim, Myers Gabe everything until they broke.
On the under side...
Travis Konecny is our young blue clip forward that brought nothing. I think you can make a splash if you spoke to Toronto. Derek Grant isn’t offer a future. Nate Thompson is gone. I understand it was a rough season understand the circumstances of Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom but we were still a better build team than the Islanders and sone chose not to show up. |

Yeah, this was right up there with that 7-1 loss to the sabres. Makes winning game 5 and 6 worthless. - the deaninator
I think once we lost to the sabres 8 0 and another 7 1 in decisive games. Absolute collapses |

They won the first round and went seven games in the second. I’ve definitely seen much worse. - Dkos
Last time with Hakstol in 2018 comes to mind. |

Flyers had more talent, but they were never close to being the better team. |

that was the same series I think.
That was when it was clear the flyers were not built for the "new" nhl, right before the 06-07 year. |

Yeah, I remember that 8-0. I remember Snider's disappointment. When was it? |

Braun Thompson and grant should be gone. I said last summer that the core needed to be shaken up. While I’m a big Jake fan, I think you look at moving him and jvr if you can. There needs to be a change in chemistry.
I also just love being eliminated by a team that probably wouldn’t make the playoffs had the season been played normally. Wow

Im a little upset on how outplayed the FLyers were but the bright side is people can now stop crying about not winning a playoff series. We got 1 win under our belt and valuable experience for our young team.
I expect next year we will see much more stability from Konecny, Sanheim, Myers and Hart. We will have Lindblom back at 100%. Maybe Frost Makes the team as well and we get NoPa back
I still have concerns about how gassed the players looked all series especially since they came off a long break. |

I had zero issue with moose this season. I’d re sign him one year unless you really think one of the kids in the minors is ready. He’s also been a solid mentor for hart |

Its gonna be next to impossible to trade those contracts with the flat cap. We would have to eat some $. |

I first thought it was bad ice, but then when the islanders started playing at a totally different tempo, it was really hard to watch the longer the series went on. |

Yes, the Isles were embarrassed by the Canes last year in the 2nd-round. You can tell that they really learned their lessons from that series.
Hopefully the Flyers will do the same next season.

There were a couple. I think we got crushed by them in 01 and then again in 2006. Forsberg got us two games in that series but then we got smoked. I think esche was our tender that year. |

On a personal level, I'm glad that the players can go home and see their families. Between that and not being able to play in front of fans, it had to be really tough emotionally. |

That was their first year with Trotz, this is our first year with AV.
And that's really all that is similar to the two situations, imo. |
