He doesn't skate well enough to play other roles, so if he doesn't fit in the top 6 he doesn't really fit anywhere. He'll just be another overpaid player in the bottom 6 and if his offensive skills erode he'll be damn near untradeable with a high salary.

He can be a depth 3rd line offensive guy if say Podz passes him. His game was never about skating he just knows where to be to create offense and is defensively sound. That doesn't mean he wouldn't be top 6 on another team. He'd only be 30 not 35 and in erosion.

There are some good goons in the AHL . I would like to see Canucks sign one and be called up for Games against Vegas or other teams that have similar players. I know the Flames use to do it with Garnett Hathaway.

The Canucks as a team aren't as tough as Vegas, one guy to take on Reaves isn't worth it. When the opposition are winning he plays like 7 minutes a game with 2 shifts in the third. Take him out of the game that way.

Those AHL goon guys are rare that can skate at NHL level. Gadjovich is a tough guy but can't skate well enough. Not sure if Bailey was supposed to be one. But if you can skate then you turn into a scoring machine at AHL level lol. ZacMac would have been game but kept out of the roster for rest of the run.
