Oct.24th thru Jan. 30th he was pretty bad for a 13 game stretch, got 4pts during that time in OT games. Allowed 6 goals 3 times 5 goals 4 times.

I watched all the games and I wouldn’t think that stretch was all about him. Some bad breaks, some bad bounces and some bad games but it’s tough to say it’s all on one guy.
I’d say he’s a good backup and whether he’s in buffalo or somewhere else he will still be in the NHL.
He also must have had a 17 game good stretch to get to the 12-14-4 mark

#8 and Ry Johnson for Monahan. Get it done! Tired of waiting. If he scores 30 and gets 60 pts. while winning better than 50 % of faceoffs, I'm in.....

We already have a backup that we think might bounce back. Or might not. That's why they aren't worth anything.
