Look, the Pegula's are a poop show, but the objective of the team president is NOT to run the day-to-day. That's what the GM is for. It's to manage the business side. The business side is about making money, you make money by marketing your team.

I view an injury as lasting longer and being more severe than a short-term bruiser. Maybe you don't. Hitting to injure in my context is wrong, period. Hitting and all around physical play to impose your will, to be a bastard (clean) to play against is an important element on a winning team. Doesn't need to be dirty.

Hitting late is another argument altogether, and I agree with you disdain with it.
