Soooooooooo...
How are we feeling about Sunday?
I think that most people are over-rating the Bills this year (their schedule was weak last year), but they should go through the Jets like a hot knife through butter. - Atomic Wedgie
They could just as easily go 7-9 as they could 11-5, imo.
They have GOT TO win the games they're supposed to win. 5-1 in the division is a must. |

As long as he gets a 2C, im calling it a win. It's possible to win now and lose later, which I'm fine with.
Hypothetically if they traded 8 for Monahan and that player becomes better than Monahan in 3 years then I'm sure a certain segment of the fan base will run around screaming "zomg, fleeced again!"
But if we get 3 good years and some playoffs out of it:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - jcragcrumple
Something should be said about improving the culture/winning environment, making players actually want to come here. Will I trade a pick for that? Having better trade/NTC/UFA options and having a happy franchise player? I mean.. probably.

Raise your hand if you think Adams is going to address our pressing 2C need without getting fleeced.
The rookie GM who has no scouting or player development department and a waitress as his boss. This has "Towering Inferno" epic disaster written all over it.
My hand is not raised. - SabreWest
Why do the Sabres need to trade for anyone?
Aren't you better off just signing free agents? It's going to be a helluva buyers' market this October, and the Sabres are so uniquely positioned to rebuild the team.
P.S. You just made me remember that I read "The Tower" - the book that the movie was based on. Good book - I wonder if it is still at my parents' house. Probably not, as I think I read it 40 years ago. |

Yeah, I think a team can win the AFC East with a 9-7 record, maybe even 8-8.
I don't like our chances in the playoffs, but maybe we can have 17 weeks of fun getting there. |

why, team is going to get better then last year
we went 10-6 last year
2 losses to pats by 7 or less (probably would have won the first game if not for a cheap shot from the pats on allen)
1 loss to ravens by 7, hung tough
1 loss to browns by 3 on road
1 game they had no shot, vs eagles with a lot of wind
and a meaningless game in week 17, we lost with scrubs
so in the 15 games that counted, we went 10-5 and within a TD in 4 of 5 losses

I think the Bills will win 10 or 11 games.
People won’t see it as much as an improvement but they played once of the easiest schedules quite possibly of the last few years last year.
I would consider not winning the Division a disappointment.

Their schedule last year was incredibly easy.
1 win against a team over .500 (Titans at 9-7)
2 wins against teams that went 8-8
This year the Bills have (apparently) the fifth-toughest schedule:
https://billswire.usatoda...nfl-strength-of-schedule/
Last year it was the 26th toughest. |

Would have been even less if Smith was gone, guy seemed to be a penalty waiting to happen. |

Usually wouldn't put it on 1 person but with the talent that is on the Bill's, it really does fall on Allen's shoulders. If he has a good year, the Bill's should be a very tough team to play. |

You keep on shooting just about every idea down.
REALISTICALLY (that means, no, Tampa is not trading Cirelli) who do YOU want? |

He's wouldn't be the C, he would play RW, and the kid can dish the puck. |

You know by your thinking, this player isn't worth it or that player cost to much, so we will be stuck in the same situation we are know watching Jack walk out the door. |

There's not many options out there only one I see Realistically happening is Derek Stepan, Raanta for picks or C Prospects |
