He’s only due $2.5M in real money this year and has no more bonuses.

That's interesting. I've been looking at cap hits, not actual $.

Unless you move someone like Risto for picks and prospects

But we have also read that Pegula is willing to spend for Pietrangelo so what do we believe?

I believe 89 and homies sources ..... they told us this weeks ago.

This story confirms it

Oh jesus christ.

Well this should be a fun year

Larry’s as far as the eye can see! You thought it was going to be Larry free in 2020. Just wait until you get your new Larry’s. There will be Super Shot Tall Larry Manning the 2rw! Vid-ya game Larry as your 2c. Lazer Larry at 4c. A new 4 LW Larry and just wait for a nice new Left D Larry to round out your Larry experience. And of the Sabres are really really good, you may even see the often discussed but rarely seen on ice Bjustarry.... but look quick because that special Larry is only on ice for about 4 games!

Larry... Larry... Larry... come in Larry lovers! We got tall Larry’s. concussed Larry’s. locomotive Larry’s. Lazer Larry’s. Hungry Larry’s. You want a Larry. We got it. You find a cheaper Larry anywhere.... fffrrraannnk it....

I think he's assuming that his 3.5m bonus for 20/21 has been paid. I'm not sure that's accurate.

Few other guys with lower salaries than cap hit that may be of interest:

Nick Bonino 4.1m cap hit (2.4m salary)

Reilly Smith 5m cap hit (3.5m salary)

Sean Monahan 6.375m cap hit (2.5m salary)

The question now becomes, with multiple teams looking at an internal cap and the money crunch in general, does it affect what your RFA and UFAs will get?

Instead of Sam at a long term deal at $7 per, does something short term happen at a lower dollar amount?

What happens with Kahun and Olo?

Does OG Larry take a 1 year deal hear because he knows how he will be used and knows he may cash in bigger next offseason.

It’s gonna be a heck of an interesting offseason.

I'll do it whatever way I can and it still won't be easy, probably infeasible to ice a playoff type roster.

The irony of Monahan costing more, because Calgary pays his bonus, would be pretty thick.

OG Larry. The original Larry. Angry Larry. Larson himself.

It’d be interesting to see if any of the players would take a 1 year deal with a small bump in celery to get over the pandemic hurdle and circle back next year.

Of course that puts injury risk on the players, which sucks.

Thx. I thought it meant 'one goal' Larry. For his scoring prowess.
