How’d you get up the hill if they only opened the hill to PET? I used to like this one run on the Sunny Side.
My Dad is a prïck. So 🤷♂️😂 - Arctic_AARDVARK
The hill was open. There was one section of a Ryan’s Run that was almost always closed because there was never enough snow on it. I got there that morning and was excited to run it but it was still closed. I asked the guys running the chair and they PET was coming and they were keeping it roped off. That’s all I needed to know. |

No one wants Nylander.
Not a single GM is calling Dubas about him.

Really?
How would you know this? |

First of all. A 3rd round pick is worth scraps.
the 7th overall is worth a lot. A (frank) ton more than a mid 1st. |

Biggest sadness in my life (so far) is that I haven’t been @ble to ski since I (frank)ed up my ankle.
I love Sunshine. My younger brother and I spent a week there at the lodge in ‘72 or 73. The day we arrived by bus from Calgary after flying from Ottawa we got up to the mountain and checked in and had time for one run. We had never been there before so we just kept taking chairs up but decided a hit of acid would make it fun. I think the top chair is the Sunshine chair that crosses the continental divide from Alberta to BC. By the time we hit the top we were in a white out. You literally couldn’t see your skis.
It was the wildest ski of our lives. Every time we stopped we would fall over because the pitch of the slope would throw us off balance when we were standing but was sort of ok when we were skiing. There are all these bowls so at times we would find we were skiing uphill.
We weren’t freaked out till the next day when we could actually see where we were.
Only skied Louise once which after a winter at Tremblant (UI Ski Team). Skied with some friends who had come out from Tremblant including a woman who had been a guide there. She told us about having been buried under 40 feet of snow at Louise. I’m glad she only told us after. - Canada Cup
i got back to sunshine just before the world got covid'd.
Such a great time, a blizzard cancelled our day at lake louise

Yes 3rd rounders are worthless. No good players have ever been picked out of there.
What the hell does 7th overall and a mis fist have to do with each other? |

I don't fall into recency bias like most do. You are welcome to do so though, I just won't agree with you. |

The chances of getting a good NHL player are low, 3rd round picks aren't worth much.
Neither is a 5$ lottery ticket. |

Subban was decent on Montreal, he's been really sh!t on two teams in a row. Let him go elsewhere to be a reclamation project.

I don't think everyone shares the same stance you do on Subban.
Try to understand other peoples values, wether you agree with them or not. - Santo_44
That's fine. People are allowed to be wrong.
Seriously though, NJ might agree with me, since they're said to want to get rid of Subban pretty badly.
Which makes sense, because he sucks and isn't worth his contract. |

Recency bias? Like, you're saying Suban was good defensively before but because he sucked last year I'm just falling into recently bias?
Where's the camera? Am I being punked? Ok, Ashton kutcher come out now the gig is up. |

I don't see that anywhere.
Just because a team is shopping a player doesn't mean they suck.
There are bad fits everywhere. Barrie was a horrible fit here and he'll likely go onto another team and will be fantastic for them.

Yes
Subban wasn't pure offence for NSH or MTL. He brought a lot more to the game for both teams. |

Which I always found hilarious. He was Nashville's 4th best d-man but third best in the league? Crazy. |
