No one wants Nylander.

Not a single GM is calling Dubas about him.

Not at 7mil.

If anyone has a hookup for a Raptors stream with Toronto broadcast team audio, I will admit you're right about hockey

Hehe.. hard to find one eh?

I’ll look for one.

But usually I can’t find one. Bilasport, crackstreams, buffstreams etc are usually TNT..

Nylander for Subban(4.5M) and the 7th overall

15th overall for J.Anderson

Nylander, 15th overall for Subban, 7th overall, Anderson

might be possible.

- Santo_44

I don't think NJ does the 7th. More like the 18th pick.

Wouldn't be worth nylander IMO. Having to take on Subban as well, no thanks

Half of Subban contract is being retained. Say, if NJ doesn't retain, then I could see the 7th pick in play.

Your Nylander anti crush is so endlessly over the top dramatic and tired. Seriously, did he run over your puppy or something?

I can get why not everyone is a fan, but you on here daily preaching that he's basically useless waiver fodder is nothing short of ridiculous. Get over it ffs. 🤦‍♂️

Retain at 50% and the 7th is a toss up. If it's not retained at 50% no interest at all.

My sister lives in Chamonix.

S’all good tho, I’m flying back to God’s Country (Alberta) on Saturday, and I intend to ski my little heart out. Hopefully Sunshine or Louise has a discount seasons pass cause of this Covid poop..

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Biggest sadness in my life (so far) is that I haven’t been @ble to ski since I (frank)ed up my ankle.

I love Sunshine. My younger brother and I spent a week there at the lodge in ‘72 or 73. The day we arrived by bus from Calgary after flying from Ottawa we got up to the mountain and checked in and had time for one run. We had never been there before so we just kept taking chairs up but decided a hit of acid would make it fun. I think the top chair is the Sunshine chair that crosses the continental divide from Alberta to BC. By the time we hit the top we were in a white out. You literally couldn’t see your skis.

It was the wildest ski of our lives. Every time we stopped we would fall over because the pitch of the slope would throw us off balance when we were standing but was sort of ok when we were skiing. There are all these bowls so at times we would find we were skiing uphill.

We weren’t freaked out till the next day when we could actually see where we were.

Only skied Louise once which after a winter at Tremblant (UI Ski Team). Skied with some friends who had come out from Tremblant including a woman who had been a guide there. She told us about having been buried under 40 feet of snow at Louise. I’m glad she only told us after.

I love love love Sunshine, and skiing the Continental Divide during a blinding blizzard was one of the greatest times of my life. I also love Marmot Basin in Jasper and Kicking Horse in Golden, although it is not for the faint of heart.

Lol. That’s crazy.

Sunshine is cool, kinda more laid back and nicer views than LL. LL is pretty steep and a little more dangerous imo. So the 40 ft of snow story isn’t surprising (albeit likely exaggerated lol). Tbh, sometimes i just hit up Nakiska for a half day to get some turns in.

I used to ski Tremblant too. It’s always so packed and full of icy spots. Mt Antoine in Mattawa was my home hill. I miss that place.

Rented a farmhouse for $750 for the winter in 1973. Drove into Ottawa every two weeks to collect my UI cheque that 3 of lived on. Skied Monday to Friday. Best run I had was on lower part of Ryan’s (maybe all different now) which was always closed except after big snow. Found out that they were keeping it closed for Pierre T who was coming up from Ottawa. Slipped under the barricade and lived knowing how passes he would be to see my track on every turn.

Of all the things my dad gave me (bad sense of humour) I’ll always love him for giving me skiing.

How’d you get up the hill if they only opened the hill to PET? I used to like this one run on the Sunny Side.

My Dad is a prïck. So 🤷‍♂️😂

The cat track is awesome tho. Broke my rib where the cat track passes under the gondola, there’s some moguls there that my pontoons couldn’t handle, worst skiing accident of my life. Like all hills, it sucks when it gets skied out, and it’s just packed powder or moguls everywhere.

Revy is just stupid steep.

I think its fair.

Nylander is worth more than the 7th overall pick alone.

Maybe the Leafs throw in a 2nd/3rd pick. But it's fair for both teams.

I mean, they get easily the best player in the deal and at the same time get rid of Subban and half his contract.

That's pretty good for them, even if they're losing the 7th.

I don't think everyone shares the same stance you do on Subban.

Try to understand other peoples values, wether you agree with them or not.

Now we are adding more pick to this?

Nobody is busting down the door to pull the trigger on that deal, and your answer is to add kore to the leafs offer?

The leafs need defense, how does this help?
